I LOVE TO WRITE!

I designed this website to share this love through a series of posts on a bunch of topics that I’ve organized into the following categories: Announcements, Books on Writing, General Advice, Modern Writer v1.0, and Submitting Your Fiction.

I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Eastern Washington University; and my previous fiction has appeared in LiveWire, Every Day Fiction, Almost Five Quarterly, Breakwater Review, Penumbra, Double Dare Press, and Konundrum Engine Literary Review. In 2007, I placed third in Zoetrope’s Short Fiction Contest. I’m currently writing my first novel.

I live with my wife in Southern California, where I teach English at Fullerton College.
